Rhode Island Founder Unveils CaddyJet Golf Tool
Inspired by the caddy pit and a second chance, the working prototype turns a standard water bottle into an on-course spray while connecting golf innovation with the recovery story behind The Drunk Caddy.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — September 24, 2026 — CaddyJet today unveiled the working physical prototype of a pocket-size golf tool powered by CapPunch technology. The compact device punches a small opening in a standard plastic water-bottle cap, allowing a bottle already in the golf bag to produce a controlled spray for club care, ball care, clean hands, or a quick mist during a hot round.
The product grew out of founder Tommy Bryan's lifetime around golf. Bryan learned the game in the caddy pit at Wannamoisett Country Club in Rhode Island, where long days carrying two bags taught him to value equipment that is simple, useful, and easy to carry. Years later, after watching his stepdaughters poke holes in water-bottle caps at the pool over a July Fourth weekend, he saw a practical golf application for the same basic idea.
That idea became CapPunch, the reusable core mechanism, and CaddyJet, its first golf-specific sleeve. The current prototype uses a spring-return punch mechanism and a compact form designed to clip onto a golf bag or keychain. CaddyJet is now moving into field feedback and production refinement, with a Founders Edition planned as the first release.
“Years spent inside the caddy pit taught me that the best innovations are the simplest. CaddyJet was built to be one of them.”Tommy Bryan · Founder of CaddyJet
CaddyJet also reflects a more personal second chapter. Bryan stopped drinking on November 24, 2025, and built the product around the same belief in simple, honest next steps. The CaddyJet site also supports The Drunk Caddy by TRB1, a golf and recovery story now available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Cape Verdean Kriolu.
“Recovery taught me to take life one day at a time, and golf taught me to take it one shot at a time. CaddyJet came from that same way of thinking: solve the problem in front of you, keep it simple, and take the next step.”Tommy Bryan · Founder of CaddyJet
The book and the product share a mission centered on hope and second chances. The Drunk Caddy carries that message through story, while CaddyJet brings practical innovation to the course.
CaddyJet is inviting golf clubs, pro shops, tournament operators, outing organizers, retailers, and custom-brand partners to follow the prototype's next stage and discuss field testing, wholesale opportunities, tournament programs, and future branded editions.
